This video shows our full rising damp treatment process from start to finish, carried out using a proven, long-term method designed to stop moisture at its source.
We begin by removing contaminated plaster back to clean masonry, exposing the affected walls fully. A new chemical damp proof course is then installed using injected rods, accurately spaced and set to form a continuous moisture barrier.
Once the DPC is in place, a waterproof slurry is applied to the masonry, followed by a sand and cement render incorporating waterproof additives. All joints are reinforced with joint tape to prevent cracking and ensure long-term durability.
The walls are then finished with a smooth skim coat, ready for decoration.
